Woodthorpe Plant Shop Handy Person

Do you like a good job well done? Are you a little bit handy with a hammer or a paint brush and want to give something back? Well this might be the volunteer role for you!

We are looking for who can give up to approx. 3 hours per week (weekdays) to help build new and maintain structures such as display tables and shelves at Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop and Nursery.

What will you be doing? • Building new shelves and display cabinets out of wood • Putting wheels on display tables • Painting structures • Maintaining trolleys

If you are interested in some of the above tasks but not all then please let us know.

Some tools can be provided, however if you would prefer to use your own this is okay.

We can offer a small workspace in our potting sheds for work to be done in poor weather.
