Duke of Edinburgh Award Volunteer Placement

DofE volunteering is available at the following City Libraries - Aspley, Basford, Bilborough, Bulwell, Clifton, Dales, Meadows, Hyson Green, Radford, Southglade, St. Anns Valley, Strelley, and Wollaton libraries.

**Note: DofE opportunities are not yet available at our new Central Library. **

The process to apply is as follows:

1. Contact your preferred library directly and ask to speak to the Senior Library Customer Advisor
2. Ask if there is a current DofE opportunity available
3. Let them know the date that you would like to start
4. Complete the online application form
5. You will be contacted via the volunteer coordinator once your application has been received for a welcome chat.
6. Your placement start date will then be arranged

*The application process generally takes up to 2 working weeks.

As part of the application process, you will be asked to specify 2 libraries as your first choice may not be available.
