Woodthorpe Nursery Volunteer

Nottingham City Council have managed a plant nursery at Woodthorpe Park since the 1920’s and as well as using these in our beautiful parks and open spaces around the city, they are available for the public for purchase.

Based at Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop and Nursery you will work closely with the team to help care for a wide variety of high quality plants, help tidy and prepare areas of our nursery and shop.

We are looking for enthusiastic people who want to help our customers have a great experience. This role could include; • Tidying store and growing areas • Arranging stock in a visually appealing way • Repotting plants and flowers • Pruning and deadheading • Watering plants
