Community Gardener, Forest Recreation Ground (Community Gardener, Forest Recreation Ground)

As one of our Community Gardeners you will work closely with the gardeners and Park Ranger at the Forest Recreation Ground to maintain its remarkable heritage and green spaces. This will be achieved through conservation based tasks and gardening, primarily at the herbaceous border.

We are looking for enthusiastic people who want to make our our green spaces even more beautiful and blooming. This could include; • Hand weeding shrub and floral areas • Preparing the ground for planting • Planting new bedding plants • Deadheading flowers as necessary • Staking plants as necessary • Watering plants • Edging of lawned areas • Cleaning of signage • Creating habitat piles and biodiversity features
