Tree Planting Volunteer
We need your help across the city to make Nottingham greener by planting trees in our parks and open spaces!
Nottingham City Council has ambitious plans to plant 50,000 trees by 2023 and has made the commitment to become the first carbon neutral city in the country, reaching this target by 2028.
This planting season we have plans to plant 5 Tiny Forests (Miyawaki Forest) as well as additional planting in parks and open spaces.
Tree planting season runs from October to March each year and planting dates will be confirmed and advertised shortly.
Please be aware that by signing up as a tree planting volunteer you will be requested to book on to a day when you can help through the volunteer portal. This is so we can make sure we have enough PPE, tools, trees (and refreshments!) for you on the day.
